Rodger Wireless Bedwetting Alarm
This review of the rodgers wireless bedwetting alarm is provided by the bedwetting store site and shows you what the bed wetting underpants look like, how the wireless battery connects and is removed from the underpants for washing purposes. Where the actual auditory sound comes from, what it sounds like and how to turn it off. The optional non-wireless vibrating part that can be placed under the pillow.
The Rodger wireless bedwetting alarm is very well designed and a great deal of thought has been taken to make it both comfortable for the child and easy to use for a child and parent.
Alarms are a highly successful form of treatment for bedwetting particularly when used with guidance and understanding. Without having a consistent approach during use, they can lead to further distress and disturbed nights that may perhaps not have the fast result they should have. In my book I explain how to get your child ready for this form of treatment and the steps to take to maximise its success.
Depending upon the level of motivation and your child’s ability to accept the alarm and use it independently, you might expect to see good results within one to two weeks, with a possible continuance of treatment of six weeks. Each child is an individual and as long as the child continues with a positive attitude and results, the duration of the treatment is up to you.
At the early stage of treatment parental help for waking the child is vital. For later stages, especially in older children, less help will need to be offered and your child may be able to use the alarm independently.
As well as the auditory alarm, it is possible to get an extension that vibrates which can be placed under the pillow to give an added factor to the stimulus to wake. The deep vibration can be sensed by the child when it occurs so that even in a deep sleep the combined sound and vibration works to wake the child when the first wetness is sensed by the sensory threads in the underpants.
The Rodger wireless alarm is, in my opinion, the best bedwetting alarm to use. Watch the video to see this excellent review about the rodger wireless bedwetting alarm.
